Gastric/ Small intestinal Foreign body removal

A dog presented with a dangerous intestinal blockage after swallowing a rope toy. During surgery we discovered the rope extending through the stomach and small intestines and beginning to cause an intussusception. The rope was successfully removed, and the patient is recovering well.
